Making CSR work

The way we work at Chase Zander makes delivering on our CSR promises as easy as one, two, three.

1. If CSR isn’t working, we’re not working. We’re clear about our vision for CSR, and our new starters know about it from day one. For us, it’s not ‘take it or leave it’. It’s about success or failure – so it gets done first time, every time.

2. We’re pernickety about process. We’ve even got the ISO badge to prove it. Great process isn’t about ticking boxes. It means that every member of our team understands how we want them to interact with others. It means that every one of us understands how to minimise our impact on the environment. And it means that every one of us knows the ingredients to a successful charity day.

3. Last, but not least, we train our people well. We give them a clear picture of how we want them to work and with what behaviours. We’re constantly asking everyone we work with for feedback on our performance, and we translate all of that feedback into training so we’re always going from strength to strength.

As a result, our people are more knowledgeable, they’re happier and better motivated – and they tend to stay with us longer. In turn, they give our clients and candidates a truly superior service from a place of integrity and professionalism.

All things combined, we’ve got a pretty solid framework for success. We all know what’s expected of us, and we all challenge each other if we see another person dropping the ball – even if that person happens to be the boss!

This culture makes delivering on our CSR promises something that happens naturally at Chase Zander. It allows us to operate with a social and moral compass firmly in place, and that’s what makes the difference between just doing a job and doing something we’re all genuinely proud of in our lives.
